The Brittany Murphy Mystery
>> Tuesday, December 22, 2009
When half the world mourns the mysterious death of Brittany Murphy, the other half is trying to discover whether it is another swindling tale told by the gossip mongers. The hottest gossip previous week was that Miley Cyrus (our very own Hannah Montana to be precise) and Eminem had gone to meet their guardian angels in heaven. (or hell?) God bless their souls, for they are quite hale and hearty. Speculations were, therefore, rife whether Brittany Murphy mystery death is another practical joke straight out of the Hollywood closet. Is Murphy actually dead? READ MORE
Unfortunately, this time it's no prankster's take on the 32 year old actress. To our shock and dismay, Brittany Murphy has passed away at such a tender age with no visible trace of the cause of her sudden demise. Only the toxicologists will be able to declare the actual cause after executing her autopsy. But what is raising a lot of eyebrows is the fact that her screenplay writer husband, Simon Monjack wasn't very keen on handing over her body for an autopsy. Simon please cough up the reason for the sake of her fans. They have every bit of right under the sun to discuss her autopsy results over the evening coffee and shed a few tears.
Our own sources (the internet, who else?) claim that Brittany was in for substance abuse for a long time. Her frail image actually scared a few eyeballs in a TT collection Pop-up party last week in LA as she seemed rickety to some and cosmetic doll to others. There is no one available to confirm whether she was Bulimic or Anorexic, but one of her close pals confided with one of the leading dailies that she was purposefully on a stringent diet to for the 'O so' perfect booty to keep the drool quotient run high. She was high on cosmetics, caffeine, and prescription drugs. Initially the docs inferred that those over the counter drugs did her the damage, and that she might have had a cardiac arrest before she gave in to the death monster.
Another Micheal Jackson in a row? Well, not exactly. Monday witnessed a complete u-turn of the homicide theory, and the officials announced that Brittany Murphy had flu symptoms before she expired. Her personal doc was grilled to validate whether her daily pills gave a fatal bite. But he was given a clean chit. The body bore no signs of suffering as such. Therefore, coronary thrombosis, commonly referred to as heart attack, has been the root cause of Brittany Murphy mystery.
Murphy had garnered respect from the movie buffs for her artless performances in "Clueless", "8 Mile", "Just Married", "Uptown Girls", "The Dead Girl" (she was flanked by the best supporting actor nomination), "Sin City" to name a few. Leaving behind a lineage of movies that was worth her mettle, Brittany has bid farewell to her admirers. She was to tie the loose ends of a handful of flicks like "Abandoned", "The Expendables", "The Caller", "Something Wicked", and "Shrinking Charlotte", which would be screened in the coming months.
Goodbye glam doll (the tag that she wanted to wear perpetually)! Perhaps your story of famish would have gone unnoticed, if you wouldn't have sacrificed your life at the altar of flu and prescription drugs.
